Attorney Jacob Oresky has reached a significant career milestone, completing 30 years of representing the interests of injured people in Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx and Long Island. Born and raised in New York City, Mr. Oresky graduated from Pace University School of Law in 1986 and was admitted to the New York Bar in 1987. After honing his skills at one of the city’s larger law firms, he opened his own practice in 1992.
Throughout his career, he’s focused his efforts on protecting the rights of injured people, representing more than 1,000 personal injury victims and recovering more than $300 million in judgments and settlements. He handles a broad range of personal injury claims, from motor vehicle accidents and construction site injury claims to medical malpractice and slip and fall injuries. From humble beginnings, he’s built a highly effective team that provides legal services in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Polish, and can effectively litigate the most complex personal injury claims, including wrongful death actions. He practices in all state courts in New York and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
