The worker’s wife and children resided in Ecuador and were devastated by the tremendous loss of the head of their household.
A significant wrongful death action was commenced against the building owner and contractor in charge of the construction for their negligence which resulted in the worker’s death.
The construction worker’s wife wanted to serve as the administratrix of her husband’s estate and testify as a witness in the trial.
When the worker’s widow applied for a Visa to enter the United States to attend court proceedings, her application was denied.
