A livery cab driver was arrested in the Bronx on June 14 after striking a pedestrian. The accident occurred when the 39-year-old victim attempted to cross East 149th Street and River Avenue in Melrose at around 2:30 a.m.
The pedestrian was rushed to the emergency room after the accident. Reports indicate that the 39-year-old was in critical condition.
Police arrested the livery cab driver, who now faces charges of aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
